Within walking distance from my house in Lebanon I came across Somar restaurant. A friendly and welcoming staff. Cosy environment and great service. Somar is famous for their slow cooked lamb served as a filling sandwich. I was in the mood of trying their Grilled Kibbeh.
Kibbeh Mishwiyyeh is one of the kibbeh methods made in the Middle Eastern. Made from Bulgur cracked wheat, minced onions and lean ground meat, topped off with spices. Made into a large meat ball then filled from the inside with fat then flattened to around plate like. This is then grilled on charcoal and served with yogurt, salad or humus.
