Kinghat Green Chutney

Green chutney is a flavourful condiment made with fresh mint, coriander, garlic, ginger and cumin. It is one of the most basic chutney that are eaten with all kinds of Indian snacks, chaats.


 2 cup of coriander fresh leaves

1 cup of fresh mint

4 green chillies

2 garlic cloves

½ inch ginger

1 tsp cumin

1 ½ tbsp of lemon juice

Salt to taste



Rinse and Pick mint and coriander leaves.

Add all the ingredients to a blender. Add 1 or 2 tbsp of water at a time and blend to thick paste.

Add the lemon juice and green chilli to taste. Store in a clean dry airtight glass jar. Refrigerate and use when needed. Store in the refrigerator for a week or in the freezer for a month.
