During my visit to Liverpool. As I was strolling through the city, passing by the Albert Dock, I was astonish to find a food market. My passion for food made me wonder around to explore what Liverpool had to offer as homemade food. One specific food caught my eyes, with no hesitation to try. That was the Gourmegg.
Gourmegg is a gourmet scotch egg. Consists of hard-boiled egg wrapped in sausage meat, coated in bread crumbs and baked or deep-fried.
Andy Price who has passion for food made these Gourmet scotch eggs his own way, adding special spices and ingredients in making selection of flavoured scotch eggs . He also made vegetarian Spanish Huevo Gourmet scotch eggs consist of chickpeas, smoked paprika, chilli, garlic, red onion and red pepper.
The Huevo was tasty and enjoyable. There were no egg odour to put me off, the flavours were spot on. I was glad to find them in Liverpool and tick them off my list of food to try. I recommend it not to miss if you ever in Liverpool. Well recommended by kinghat.
